I was so excited Sunday when I tried out pig tails on Molly and her hair was actually long enough to do it! Her hair on the top doesn't grow at nearly the same pace as the bottom hair so I thought the top couldn't be pulled back that low but I was wrong. She's had to have two haircuts already because of the way her hair grows; it turns into a pretty wicked mullet very quickly.

Not My Fault!
For any of my fellow UofA alumnus out there, this background is not my fault! I looked at the blog the other day and Chris had changed it from my darling spring flowers background to this! As soon as I have a minute to look through the hundreds of templates and pick out a new one (since I'll never be able to find my spring template again) I'll get this atrocity changed but until then Sparky it is...

The Joy of Being a Grandparent
Not many people in my book could get away with feeding Molly as much ice cream as she wants directly out of the container...
Molly could sit and play "buggies" (Virus Buster on the Nintendo DS) for hours if you let her...and I happen to know a couple of people that do!

Missing His True Calling in Life?

Trip to Ikea
I know it seems silly to be blogging about a trip to a furniture store, but the kids are always pretty funny when we go so this time I decided to document. Ikea has a big kid's section with furniture, beds, toys, etc., and this is there one big chance to get out of the stroller or cart, whichever they may be riding in, and run around. And they definitely take advantage of the freedom! Their favorite thing to do is play on all the beds, but they also like to sit on the furniture and climb around in the "hair" (pictured below-the plastic streamer-things that hang down).
